The region is home to more than 8,000 physicians and numerous hospitals, including the well-known Mayo Clinic and Barrow Neurological Institute. Several hospital corporations dominate the region, including Banner Health System, the John C. Lincoln Network and Scottsdale Healthcare.
Clinical and Business Medical Training Courses
The Bryman School of Arizona’s associate degree program includes courses that train students in clinical procedures as well as business and communications to help offices run smoothly. The list below illustrates this blend.

Medical Assistant students also get the opportunity to observe students training in other allied health careers through Bryman’s WOW program.
Graduates compete for positions including clinical or administrative medical assistant, laboratory assistant, medical bookkeeper or medical receptionist. The associate degree curriculum also provides a broad background that can help students advance in their careers.
After graduation, students can sit for certification tests offered by major professional organizations including the American Association of Medical Assistants and American Medical Technologists.
