About Us
Founded in Reno, Nevada in 1902, Morrison University has offered business-related education and training for more than a century.
Morrison University’s associate and bachelor degree programs educate students in business and management theories while training them in technical skills that will help them effectively compete for entry- and mid-level technical and professional positions.
Business practices, ethics, communications, and computer skills are part of every program. Several elective options in humanities and natural sciences are also available.
The undergraduate programs at Morrison University include:
A Master of Business Administration (MBA) program open to highly qualified students provides rigorous training to prepare future business leaders in virtually any business or industry.
Programs are offered during the day and in the evening.
All Morrison University students meet with professional Career Services advisors who provide them with resume development services, position leads, job search strategy seminars, interview preparation, on-campus job fairs and more. Tutoring is also available from fellow student volunteers and staff.
Financial Aid advisors guide qualifying students to the grant, loan or scholarship program that best serves their needs. Military veterans and active-duty students can also receive assistance by applying for special federal aid for which they may qualify.
High school seniors who meet certain academic and other criteria can apply for Morrison University’s Fast Start high school-to-college transition program. Students are selected to participate based on information provided on the student application, which includes a short essay. The program allows them to take up to two college-level general education courses at no charge. For more information and to request an application, please contact Joyce Decker, Director of Admissions, at 775-335-3905.
