Anthem College – Brookfield

Established in 2006, Anthem College-Brookfield offers students career-focused training programs in the healthcare field.

Hands-on Technical Training in Medical Career Fields

Anthem College students train in both classrooms and labs designed to look like actual medical facilities. Instructors demonstrate procedures students need to know for their specific careers, and they practice hands-on to develop these skills. This process helps ensure that our students graduate as career-focused professionals whose skills match the needs of today’s medical employers.

Healthcare is a major industry in Milwaukee and the region’s two largest employers are healthcare organizations. Aurora Healthcare employs more than 21,000 persons and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare employs 12,000. Other major healthcare employers are Froedtert & Community Health, which is affiliated with The Medical College of Wisconsin, and Columbia-St. Mary’s Healthcare.

Overall, 90 hospitals and medical facilities are in Milwaukee, as well as more than 4800 physicians.
