Additional coursework helps the student prepare for a managerial career in massage therapy or open their own business, and covers key items such as communications, financial principles, computer applications, and risk management..

Clinical Massage Therapy Training and Preparation for the National Licensing Exam

After they have successfully completed coursework, students are placed in a supervised clinic, which further prepares them to sit for the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork or the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination.

Graduates from the associate program can seek employment in medical, sport, or spa settings, or set up their own businesses.
