Anthem Institute-Las Vegas

Formerly known as High-Tech Institute, Anthem Institute-Las Vegas was founded in 2002. The School offers career-focused training programs in the healthcare field.

According to the Nevada Workforce Informer, the aging baby boomer population should increase the demand for health care services in Las Vegas and the rest of Nevada. For this reason, the Health Care and Social Assistance industry will continue to perform well with the help of smaller health care businesses. For example, doctor’s offices and dental practices around the state are expected to continue to add jobs between 2011 and 2013. In addition, overall health care employment should increase, leading to about 6,100 new health care jobs.

Anthem Institute-Las Vegas is dedicated to graduating career-focused professionals whose skills match the needs of today’s healthcare employers. Our learning experience combines coursework with real-world training labs, with the goal of making sure that students who come prepared to learn will leave prepared to succeed.

By providing our students with the education and training that employers want to see, we are confident that our students are ready to go to work when they graduate.

Students who do not have high school diplomas or GEDs can enroll in the Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding and Dental Assistant diploma programs.

Anthem Institute-Las Vegas is centrally located in Clark County just off the I-15 & W. Sahara Avenue. Clark County is the fourteenth largest county in the entire United States and houses more than two million people. For this reason, public transportation, such as options provided by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada and the new Sahara Express bus lanes expected to open in February 2012, provides an important service to those who must commute to school or work.

At Anthem Institute-Las Vegas, we know that higher education is an investment. We have worked to eliminate confusion about the total cost of attending our School. As a result, our Total Program Charges include the cost of student tuition, books, uniforms, supplies and testing fees (when applicable).

Anthem Institute-Las Vegas holds institutional accreditation from the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges & Schools (ACICS). The Pharmacy Technician program is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).

Finally, Anthem Institute-Las Vegas is a true community partner. The school’s participation in community events earned it designation as a Best New Business Partner by Las Vegas Councilwoman Lois Tarkanian in September 2011.
