Associate of Applied Science Degree

Massage therapy students learn the technical skills needed to work in this field. The program also prepares students to manage a massage therapy business or launch their own enterprises.

Anthem College—Kansas City offers an Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy that provides clinical and workplace training for persons interested in massage as a business as well as a professional opportunity.

Multi-Faceted Massage Therapy Program

We emphasize business practices along with different massage therapy modalities, body systems and trigger point therapy. Additional coursework helps student prepare for a business or managerial career in massage therapy and covers key items such as communications, financial principles, computer applications, and risk management.

Students are placed in a supervised clinic following successful completion of coursework.

Graduates from the associate program can seek employment in medical, sport and spa settings, or set up their own businesses. The program also prepares them for the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
