Hands-on Medical Assistant Training and Education/Curriculum

Anthem Institute medical assistant students study anatomy and body systems and learn sterilization, venipuncture, injection techniques, and electrocardiogram administration. They take administrative and clinical courses that range from assisting with exams and treatment to medical office procedures and administration. A 101 course addresses a range of subjects they need to perform effectively in a medical office, including psychology, communications, and human relations.
