Computer Networking and Security
Computer Networking and Security (CNS) professionals are essential to virtually every business in the U.S. today.
The CNS programs offered by Anthem Education schools and colleges of use a career-focused approach to prepare students for entry-level positions in these fields. The programs integrate coursework with hands-on training in computer and network maintenance, repair and security.
Each student receives a network and computer tool kit filled with the tools of the trade: screwdrivers, pliers, cabling crimpers, strippers, and cable tester to use during the program and in the field.
Program graduates can compete for entry-level positions in jobs that require specific skills recommended by Computerworld, such as help desk/technical support, network, and security. A sample of courses Anthem students take include Computer Forensics, Exchange Server Administration, Network Security, and A+ hardware and software. They are also trained on Windows and Linux Administration, as well as Cisco Fundamentals and Cisco Security.
One Anthem graduate started his own IT firm and won a Best of Philadelphia award. Be sure to read his story!
