Anthem Institute – Cherry Hill

Established in 1997, Anthem Institute – Cherry Hill offers career-focused training and education in health care and technology.

At Anthem Institute, students enter a learning experience that combines coursework with real-world work environments. We strive to ensure that students who arrive ready to learn will leave prepared to succeed.

Cherry Hill is located in South Jersey, just outside Philadelphia, where the economy appears to be recovering. A second-quarter 2011 survey of area businesses conducted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia found that the majority of businesses had additional hires for the third straight quarter. In fact, almost one-fourth reported new hires. The survey is completed by members of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) showed modest increases in healthcare jobs in New Jersey in mid-2011. Several of southern New Jersey’s major employers are in healthcare and include Jefferson Health System, Christiana Healthcare, and Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania. More than 13,500 physicians and healthcare facilities are listed in Cherry Hill. Employment in the business/professional sector that includes graphic design and computer-related jobs also saw modest growth in the state.
